Restricted Operator’s Certification Maritime

Oakville will be operating 2 more virtual classroom sessions for VHF radio certification with an Instructor. The schedule for the exams will be undertaken during the course. Classes start at 7:00pm and run until near 10:00pm depending on class requirements. Classes start on the following dates, November 30, 2023 and February 29, 2024.

This is what you will receive for course materials:

–       One Maritime Radio Course textbook

–       One RocM Application form to fill out and return to Mike Johnson

–       One CPS Membership application

–       One Phonetic Alphabet Bookmark

–       One Nautical Mind Bookmark

–       One phonetic alphabet sticker for posting near your VHF radios

–       One Instruction to Access the Maritime Radio Online Study Guide

This course will be conducted on line and the exam may be in person at the Oakville Powerboat Club or scheduled on line.

There is also an option to take a self-study RocM course enrolling at CPS-ECP.ca
